* A researcher at James Cook University, Debora De Freitas, is developing an
online discussion forum at www.coastalzone.net and a weblog at CoastalZone.Net blog.
It will allow continuous and dynamic debates on issues relating to coastal management,
especially on ways that GIS can be used to facilitate public  participation in managing littoral regions.
